Polynucleotides Injection Treatment Timeline

Consultation

We offer a complimentary consultation where you will have a face to face assessment with your doctor or nurse. Each consultation will explain how it works and what you can expect from treatment. We will then review your past medical history to ensure you are suitable and safe for the treatment.

Treatment day

Our experienced practitioners will answer any questions you have, and only when you are comfortable and ready, will your treatment start. The treatment area will be cleansed, and the product administered. Some patients barely feel this, while some will feel a small sting of the needle that clears within seconds.

Aftercare and recovery

Bruising, tenderness, pain and swelling post treatment is common. Please allow time for inflammation to go down. Small lumps or spots may develop around the injection sites, and this can last for up to 5 days whilst the area heals.

Top-ups and future treatments

An initial course of 3 treatments is required for optimum results. Maintenance appointments are required every 6-12 months to keep your results.

Polynucleotide treatments are a form of regenerative therapy used in advanced skincare to improve skin hydration, elasticity, and overall texture. These treatments involve injecting naturally occurring DNA fragments, called polynucleotides, which stimulate cell growth and repair. By promoting collagen production and enhancing tissue repair, polynucleotide treatments effectively rejuvenate ageing skin, reduce wrinkles, and improve skin hydration and firmness. This innovative approach harnesses the body’s own healing mechanisms, offering a non-invasive option for achieving healthier, more youthful-looking skin.

What are the Benefits of Polynucleotides Injections?

Enhanced Skin Elasticity

These treatments stimulate collagen and elastin production, significantly improving the skin’s firmness and elasticity.

Reduced Wrinkles and Fine Lines

By promoting the regeneration of skin cells and increasing collagen levels, polynucleotide treatments can effectively diminish the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Healing and Repair

Polynucleotides can accelerate the healing process of damaged skin, making it beneficial for post-procedure recovery or sun-damaged skin.

Deep Hydration

Polynucleotides have strong water-binding properties that help maintain deep skin hydration, leading to a plumper and smoother appearance.

Improved Skin Texture

Regular treatments can smooth the skin’s texture, reducing roughness and improving overall skin quality.

Long-Lasting Effects

The regenerative properties of polynucleotides can lead to prolonged improvements in skin health and appearance, with effects that can last several months after treatment.

The ‘salmon sperm facial’, also known as a polynucleotide treatment, involves injections of polynucleotides derived from salmon or trout DNA into the skin. This innovative skincare treatment stimulates cellular regeneration and enhances collagen production, aiming to rejuvenate the skin by improving hydration, elasticity, and overall texture. Particularly effective for delicate areas like under the eyes, it reduces pigmentation and smoothens fine lines without adding volume, offering a natural rejuvenation effect.

Polynucleotides faqs

A polynucleotide treatment involves injecting long chains of nucleotides, derived from salmon or trout  DNA, into the skin. These injections stimulate cellular regeneration, collagen production, and improve skin hydration and elasticity, effectively reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and pigmentation for a rejuvenated, youthful appearance.

Polynucleotide treatments are not permanent. The effects typically last for several months, as the injected nucleotides stimulate collagen production and cellular regeneration. Maintenance treatments are recommended every six to nine months to sustain the rejuvenating benefits.

.

Yes, polynucleotides are natural. They are derived from the DNA of salmon, which closely mimics human DNA. These long chains of nucleotides are purified and used in treatments to stimulate the skin’s natural regenerative processes, enhancing collagen production and cellular repair.

Polynucleotides and anti wrinkle injections serve different purposes. Polynucleotides stimulate collagen production and improve skin health and texture naturally, while toxin treatments temporarily paralyse muscles to reduce wrinkles. Neither is inherently better; the choice depends on  patient skin concerns and desired outcomes. Consulting your practitioner to determine the best option.

Yes, polynucleotide treatments are generally considered safe. They use purified DNA to promote skin regeneration and collagen production. While the procedure is typically well-tolerated, common risks associated with injectable treatments, such as bruising and swelling, still apply.

The salmon sperm facial, or polynucleotide treatment, involves injecting DNA derived from salmon sperm into the skin. This innovative procedure stimulates collagen production, enhances skin hydration and elasticity, and promotes cellular regeneration, improving skin texture and reducing fine lines and pigmentation.
